
Summary of Terms & Conditions

Check-in
Check-in time is 4.00 pm
Check-out time is 11.00 am
Reservation
Credit card details or a $1,500 refundable security deposit are required
to confirm a reservation.
Tax
For stays under 30 days the rate is subject to 14% city occupancy taxes.
Cancellation Policy
Should the Guest wish to cancel the reservation, notice of cancellation
must be in writing (both email and fax are accepted) and received more
than 30 days prior to check-in date.
Cancellations notices received more than 30 days prior to check-in
will be charged a $100 cancellation fee. If a security deposit was submitted it will be
refunded in full.
If the Guest's notice of cancellation is received less than 30 days
prior to the check-in date, the Guest agrees to pay the full
amount of rent due for the reserved stay up to a maximum of $4,000.
The Guest agreess that his submitted credit card/ security deposit
(if applicable) will be charged with the rent amount due to cancellation.
Arrivals/Departures
No Arrivals or Departures on Saturdays. Minimum stay at weekends of three nights.
Security Deposit (if applicable)
The security deposit ($1,500) will be returned to Guest within 14 (fourteen)
days following Guest's vacating the Rental Property, minus any costs
to repair or replace any damage or loss to the Rental Property or
the contents thereof. Venice Place may retain all or part of the
deposit
for violation of the terms and conditions of the lease agreement.
Rent
Payment
The
entire rent is due upfront. The Owner accepts cash, personal checks,
wires, money orders. Owner accepts personal checks
only from the US and with printed address and corresponding State
ID
card, passport or drivers license which states the same address. The following credit ards are accepted: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX. There is a 4% processing fee for credit cards.
Keys
The tenant will receive per guest one key for front door and front gate on check-in. There
is a $50 fee for any lost key.
Liability Release
The Tenant releases Owner from liability and agrees to indemnify
and hold the property management and the owner of of teh rental property harmless. This release is for any
and all liability for any personal injuries (including death) and/or
any
property
losses
or damage occasioned by, or in connection with any activity or accommodation
related to the lease of the rental property. Any legal disputes arising
under this Agreement shall be mediated through arbitration and subject
to the rules of the American Arbitration Association at the branch
office closest to Venice, California.
Maximum Number of People
The rental property has a maximum occupancy limit of two persons. Any
further occupants will be considered as over occupancy. Over occupancy
is considered a serious violation of this rental agreement.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in the rental property.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the rental property.
Cleaning
The property will be cleaned weekly on a business day between
9.00 am and 7.00pm. The rental fee will provide for four hours of normal cleaning.
